🆙 File Importer

Our brand new importer will allow you to upload directly to the cloud rather than having to go through the standard artist upload flow.
Why add this?
This importer is built for large imports of data into a workspace, like a migration from another system. Also, if you ever need to import files from outside your mapped directory that you don't need locally, this doesn't take up additional disk space unless you sync with the folders and files after upload.
Where do I use it?
Just click
Add files
in the header when you are in the files page, then select the folder you want to import. You can choose to import it with out without the selected root folder.

🗄️ Configurable Local Version Limits

We have a new way to save more space on your local disk. This option allows you to set a limit on how many local saves mudstack tracks for your files between cloud versions. Once you exceed the limit, the oldest version is deleted so you can reclaim disk space.

🔒 File locking

Prevent duplicate work with asset locking! For teams that have a content pipeline with sequential handoffs, this locking system will give you a status for when a file is being worked on by someone else.
This lock only prevents pushes, not local version changes. So if you are blocked by a lock, you don't need to wait on an admin to continue working before it gets unlocked.
Simply right click and lock a file to prevent other users from working on a file until you unlock it.
